"A few months ago John had a student ask him some questions about the church, and he started teaching her the missionary discussions over the phone. Her name is Kathy and she is a very sweet lady. He called me from the office one day and told me he had someone on the phone that wanted to meet me. It was Kathy, and she wanted to share some exciting news. She has chosen to be baptized! She asked John if he would be willing to fly to Tennessee and baptize her, and he said yes!"
"He called me from Tennessee and told me how the baptism went, and how the Elders were so grateful because she was the first baptism they've had in that area for the past 2 years! I was so excited for him to have that experience. He has such a love for sharing the gospel, and it is so amazing to watch people's lives change because of it."
